Wildlife and Botanical Artists

11 -12 April 2012 CSIRO Discovery Centre, Clunies Ross Street, Acton

‘Wildlife Art @ Discovery’ WABA’s national wildlife art and sculpture exhibition
The official opening will be at 6.00pm on Wednesday 11th April 2012, with an invited guest speaker. Awards for excellence will also be presented in a range of categories.

Val Johnson - "Spirit of Lake Eyre" 

25 -April - 6 May, Belconnen Art Centre. Emu Bank, Belconnen.

Official opening on Friday 27th April by Maryann Musserard at 6pm.
Refreshments will be served and all are welcome to attend.

FOUR ARTISTS: Margaret Carr, Sandra House, Nell Anderson and Isla Patterson have a new exhibition at the Brindabella Hills Vineyard Gallery. The Gallery is situated out from Hall off Wallaroo Road: follow the signs for wineries. It is situated at the end of Woodgrove Close with views of the
Murrumbidgee and Surveyors Hill. The paintings in oils, watercolours and pencil are of the surrounding areas, seaside, old towns and relics of times gone by.

Looking Closely
29 May - 13 June 2012

An exhibition of paintings by the ASOC Abstract and Experimental Group (Friday Group) will be at the CSIRO Discovery Centre, Clunies Ross Street, Black Mountain. 

Members and their friends are invited to the opening on Tuesday 29 May at 6pm where astronomer Dr Duncan Steel will present the opening speech.

The works on display will be of an abstract or experimental nature and will focus on looking closely at science or the natural environment.
