Judging for the 2009 Molonglo Art Prize took place on 21 September 2009.
The judge, Bob Millis, commented on the high standard of all 44 entries. He pointed out how difficult it was to pick a winner as the standard of all entries was high, and each artist should be congratulated on their work.
Congratulations to the winning and all other entries. The exhibition created a great deal of interest in the ACTEWAGL Marquee at Floriade and as can be seen from the photos below the entries created a stunning display.
Thankyou to Joan Gotthard and Katie Volter for their organisation of this event and to all those members who attended the desk and demonstrated - a great effort by all.

1st Prize:
Donated by ACTEW Corporation was won by Mark Redzic with his entry "Fog Over Molonglo"
 
2nd Prize: Donated By ACT Natural Resource Management Council was won by Garry Mayo with his entry "Monaro Woodland"
 
3rd Prize: Donated By Molonglo Catchment Group was won by Trish Bridges with her entry "Tapestry of Reflections"
